Greetings to all our Church Family
The board members have met on May 15th, and it was decided we would start our Sunday Services on June 7th @ 10:30. There is an understanding that things could change in the next few weeks on the Provincial front:
Some of the changes we are looking at as we return to the new normal are:
Cleanliness is next to godliness – We will be getting downright Levitical in our adherence to cleaning all surfaces and set up hand-sanitizing stations at our main door.
Handshakes, high-fives and hugs are out (at least for the time being) – Physical distancing rules still apply, so people who do not already live in the same house need to respect the 2-metre rule. We will be setting up the seating to adhere to this distancing.
Coffee is not available at this time – as well pot blesses will be on hold. We will be ditching the church bulletin and using email to communicate what is happening at the church, as well as power point on the Sunday.
The offering plate will not be passed around – We will continue to do the e-transfer and on-line giving. There will be an offering box set up at the back of the sanctuary for those that want to fill out the envelope.
For parents with children there will be a short kid’s service before the Pastor gets up to speak, we will be giving the children an activity to keep them occupied during this time.
Communion: there will be “All in One” communion cups available and they can be picked up as you enter the Sanctuary.
As a family let us be reminded that we are Greatly Blessed, Highly Favoured and Deeply Loved.
If you have any concerns or questions, please feel free to contact the office.
